"Up the Down Staircase" is a picture  of the old
watchtower in the National Park of Iguazú in Argentina. It
is near the original hotel and was uses in the past for a
kiosk and a place to look out over the falls.

The Metropolitan Cathedral with its neoclassic facade and
twelve Corinthian columns representing the apostles
dates back to 1827 and is a must see in Buenos Aires. A
16th century adobe ranch house was the first building on
this site. This picture was taken just to the left of the main
entrance.

A marble mausoleum carved by the French sculptor
Carrière Belleuse containing the remains of the
Argentine liberator General José de San Martín is
housed in the Metropolitan Cathedral in Buenos Aires.

An elite corp created by General José de San Martín, known
as the Argentine liberator in their War of Independence,
permanently guard his tomb in the cathedral.  This image
taken from an  isle crossing the three main isles and the
raised platform that leads to the altar, shows the arches
this juncture created.
