The picture "Gypsy" was taken of a woman sitting on a
sidewalk in the city of Posadas in the Misiones Province of
Argentina. She probably wasn't a gypsy but the colorful garb
reminded me of one.

In the photograph "Confession" the woman is doing just
that in the Metropolitan Cathedral in Buenos Aires,
Argentina. Many people think of confession as sitting in a
dark booth with a screen between the penitent and a priest.
Instead today the person quite often faces the priest as this
lady is doing.

The "Ranch Hand" was working beside a highway in
Corrientes Province in Argentina when I took his picture.
The true gaucho was an independent roamer who tracked
down stray cattle for ranchers. In todays workplace he
would be called an independent contractor. Like in the
United States, as land became more restricted by fence
and land ownership, the gaucho or cowboy was forced to
work as an employ for one of the ranchers rather than
roam on his own.

"Homeless" was taken in front of the Metropolitan
Cathedral in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The city is home for
the first and probably only "homeless" TV talk show host,
70 year old Stella Cros.

I took of my granddaughter.She had been eating a
bubblegum popsicle and stuck her tongue out at me after a
comment I had made. I told her to hold that thought and
this is the result.

The picture of the young girl with "A Secret
Thought" was taken in the church in
Cracker Country at the Florida State
Fairgrounds. What could she have been
thinking as she sat on that pew listening to
the music and singing?
