In spite of its proximity to civilization, the Hillsborough
River in Florida is the host to an incredible variety of water
birds. This picture of a roseate spoonbill is one of the

seen along its banks..

The picture of this trio of roseate spoonbills was taken as
they fed in a pond in the Cockroach Bay Aquatic Preserve in
Hillsborough County, Florida.
